Patrick May is
a programmer and painter whose artwork explores inner conflict.
He assembles techno-religious icons which mash together video games,
instruction manuals, and personal photography. The work challenges
notions of identity by combining disparate moments of mechanical
and gestural authorship to form an epic of schizophrenia. He received
a BS in Studio Art from New York University in 1999. His work has
been exhibited in New York, Miami, and Berlin, including Maiden
Brooklyn, ZONE: Chelsea Center for the Arts, and the Galerie Scherer
8. He currently works in Brooklyn, NY creating intimate portraits
of his friends and family. |

| About Our Print Sizes: |
|
The sizes listed refer to the size of the trimmed print, including borders. Different images will have different "aspect ratios" (the proportion of width to height). Therefore, printed image dimensions will vary. We will print the image as large as possible within minimum borders (each minimum border is approximately 3% of the width of the paper).
